September 8th is International Literacy Day! Celebrated annually, this day highlights the vital role that literacy plays in our daily lives. While International Literacy Day is marked on a single day, it is important to celebrate and embrace the journey of lifelong learning every day.

Visit Your Local Library

One way you can celebrate Iiteracy and lifelong learning is by visiting your local library. Whether you’re reading a book, playing games, or using a computer, the library is a great place to practise new and old skills for people of all ages!

Volunteer at a Literacy Centre

Another way you can celebrate literacy and lifelong learning is by volunteering at a literacy centre. Literacy centres offer one-on-one or group tutoring to adults or families. Practise Your Skills
